Auf dieses Buch bin ich erst heute zufällig und im Grunde auch nur wegen des wahnsinnig tollen Covers aufmerksam geworden: Outcast von Adrienne Kress. Nachdem das Cover mich schon so bezaubert hatte, habe ich mir natürlich auch gleich mal den Text zum Buch durchgelesen, was letztlich dazu geführt hat, dass es gleich auf meiner Wunschliste landete. Die Story klingt total interessant und es ist ein Einzelband – davon möchte ich unbedingt mehr lesen! Falls es mir nicht gefallen sollte, hätte ich immerhin einen schönen Eyecatcher im Regal, aber vielleicht hält es ja auch inhaltlich, was es verspricht. Und ab und zu muss man schließlich auch mal neue – im Sinne von bisher unbekannten – Autoren ausprobieren, finde ich. ;)

After six years of “angels” coming out of the sky and taking people from her town, 16-year-old Riley Carver has just about had it living with the constant fear.
